Question for black belts

What degree do you learn the look of a cat?
What degree do you start to learn psychology?

Aaron,

Can you please describe what the look of a cat is. im not sure what is meant by that :?

But in regards to psychology, every belt, even in the junior curriculum deals with some sort of psychology. It doesnt have to be written down or made a big deal of to be taught, but things like, keeping your hands up, kiyapping, distancing, power etc are all elements of martial arts psychology.

When we do multiple grabs or self defence, we are dealing with a second person directly, so the psychology is dealing with the threat.

Hope this helps you out abit.

Thanks sir, what I meant buy the look of a cat is that I used to train with a mate (who is a Tangsoodo based martial artist)when you look into his eyes they changed colour and shape to look like cats eyes if you stop to have a look at a cats eyes there is different shapes that have. I have herd that a lot of the karate styles masters to grand masters are able to do this including korean arts, Tangsoodo & taekkyeon,This from what I have being told is a higher state of mind ready for kill mode.

Aaron,

You shouldn't believe everything you hear, ask any doctor and I think he/she will tell you that is not possible. The only thing that that question brings in mind is that many say professional fighters have a piercing look when they fight, world class fighters that is. But still it is a human eye.

If you have witnessed this yourself take a video of your mate in question and show it here, or ask him to show you a video of the guy who DID that, not the guy who said he saw something.
The psychology aspect you asked about is far more important than any look in the eye.

Sorry Sir's what I was using was an expression that Japanese or karate people use, what I meant was that the black part of the eye, I think this is called the pupil, not the coloured bit around the pupil only the pupil changes shape and colour which I saw change into the same shape that a cats pupil is. Karate people use this expression (those two fight like cats, he looks like a cat ,this is one of there faces) maybe I am not explain myself enough please let me know.

Perhaps rather than try and question Sir Markus, grab a photo or video, as Sir suggested.

Pupils dont change 'shape', they only dilate and contract, depending on the light; that is they get bigger when there is less light, and smaller when there is bright light.
